Exciting to see coho salmon return to Leland Creek under US 101 in Quilcene on the Olympic Peninsula following our project this summer to replace a small culvert that was inhibiting fish migration. As of late September we've observed at least eight different salmon swim through the area where improvements were made and a local citizen reported seeing over a dozen after not seeing any the previous 20 years or so! | WSDOT | Facebook
